Bye Bye

Lines.

Wrinkles.

Crow's Feet.

book appointment

Go for a smoother, refined and young look and reduce the lines and wrinkles.

How does it work?

A softer, smoother and renewed skin. That's the result of the microdoses of neuromodulators that we inject into the end of the nerve. The nerve is the muscle nerve that sits under each wrinkle. By blocking or freezing the impulses of the nerve, the facial muscles become relaxed.

Why does FIVE Clinics like to work with this?

Neuromodulators give the skin a softer and renewed skin. A smoothed-out appearance that looks natural. It is an FDA approved treatment that has been used safely medically since 1970; very effective with hardly any recovery time!

Questions?

We have the answers.

I am pregnant or breastfeeding. Can I be treated with botox & wrinkle relaxers?
We recommend avoiding neuromodulator treatments during pregnancy and during breastfeeding.
Are there any other side effects I should know about?
Headaches, slight bruises or swelling at the injection site are the most common but rare side effects. Others are much less common, but we are happy to discuss them with you during the consultation if you have any concerns.
Is it true that neuromodulators can make an eyelid sag?
It can happen, but in our experience: not often. This type of result is very rare and occurs less than 0.1% of the time. Our highly trained specialists are trained in administering services and treatments for the best aesthetic results with the highest level of safety.
Does it hurt?
Although it is quite low on the pain threshold, we like to numb you with a topical analgesic feeling if you want.
How does it work?
Under each wrinkle there is a muscle nerve. Neuromodulators work by blocking the signals from the muscle nerve that control the impulses. Injecting small doses of neuromodulators allows the facial muscles to relax, minimizes the appearance of wrinkles and gives you that smoother, softer look you're looking for.
How long does it stay in my system?
Your body converts the neuromodulator in 3-4 months and flushes it out of your system as muscle movement gradually returns.
Does that mean I need treatment every 3 months?
Everyone is different. Some people choose to let the results wear out completely and then come back for another treatment when they are ready. But if you want to come back in 3 months, we'd love to see you.
How long do the results last?
Just as everyone's hair grows at its own pace, everyone's results last different lengths of time. But most of the time you can expect the results to last 3-4 months.
When will I see the results?
Noticeable results should appear for about 3 to 5 days. The skin begins to feel tighter; you should see less movement and wrinkles in the injected areas. It can take up to 2 weeks to see the full results. If you have static lines and wrinkles, they can begin to diminish over time and with repeated treatments.
What is the recovery time? Can I return to work after my treatment?
You can certainly do that! The beauty of this treatment is that there is virtually no downtime. You may have small red bumps that look like insect bites at first, but they usually disappear within the hour.
What should I pay attention to after my treatment?
After the treatment, you should not lie down for 4 hours, not exercise for 24 hours and not do facials for two weeks. Try to touch the treated area as little as possible for the first 24 hours.
Can I keep my makeup on?
To assess your lines and wrinkles and make the injections, the skin must be clean in the area we are going to treat. If you have makeup on during the appointment, we will first clean your skin before the treatment starts. After the treatment you can put on make-up again.
What if I want fewer units in an area?
If you have limited lines and use preventive neuromodulators, ask for our baby botox treatment. This has 20 units spread over multiple areas, where you find it necessary.
How do the prices work?
One area is approximately equal to 10-20 neuromodulator units. At FIVE Clinics, one area is equal to: above forehead, under forehead / between eyebrows, corners of the eyes or sides of the nose.
Can I get dermal fillers during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
We advise you not to schedule treatments during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.
How long do the results last?
Every skin type is different and therefore the results are different. Often they last between 6 to 18 months, but this depends on the filler we use and what goals you have.
